Alonzo Martinez, Victor Meza, Jose Chalupa, Chico Gonzales… A whole bunch of people I still don’t know fought and won and lost. Yippee. Boy was that Jay White/Eddie Sanchez bout a non-starter.

The Lord’s Derby Thoughts: Which dogs should we be watching as the big one comes down to the final 12?
The Lord assesses the impressive performers from Tuesday night’s Wimbledon action. Down to the last 12 in the Derby - but is the picture any clearer with some 130 dogs less to weigh up?
I mentioned a while back how the chefs over at Poker Soup had invited me into their kitchen a few episodes back (episode 15). I had a lot of fun chatting with them about poker, podcasts, and the upcoming WSOP

BMW PGA Championship Betting: No chance for the amateurs this week as top pros assemble at Wentworth
There’ll be no repeat of Shane Lowry’s odds-defying victory this week as it’s strictly professionals in Surrey. Bill Elliott will be there… The delight that cascaded over the County Louth Golf Club in Baltray on Sunday when Shane Lowry won the Irish Open was understandable.
*Editor’s note: Mitch the Intern is an NYU undergrad whose favorite Wednesday night pastime includes the TV in his dorm room, a green beanbag chair and two hits of acid. Enjoy.* Like a Steven Soderbergh film, this episode is layered with scenes and montages of only tangential relevance to the TUF premise of aspiring fighters locked away in a house and competing for a UFC contract.

Well, the flight is booked. Still a few details to be ironed out, but I’ll be back in Las Vegas this summer, again helping PokerNews cover the World Series of Poker. Will be arriving in LV in just a week-and-a-half (no… really?), and once more I’ll be there for the duration, all the way ’til mid-July when the new November Nine is set
Same format as before (Horse, Post position, My odds, morning odds): 13: Flying Private, PP10, 99-1, 50-1 I developed a theory today to cover Mine That Bird’s victory. Mine That Bird won because he’s a cheap horse and hasn’t been spoiled like most of the other Derby horses. Godolphin spent 2 million dollars on Desert Storm.
Geeeeeeeeeeez. The golf media needs to chill out dude! So Tiger didn’t shoot 65 and make multiple eagles and give us the usual spectacular performance… neither did Cejka.
